An Associate with PCAInc since February 2000 and graduate of the University of Michigan with a Batchelor of Science in Industrial Design, Jim has a widely varied background in construction and environmental science. He has served as Project Manager and principal author for facilities inspections and assessments in the continental United States, Europe, and South Korea. Scope included buildings, utilities’ distribution, and central utilities plants. Projects included offices, hospitals and clinics, academic, library, warehouses, vehicle maintenance, airfield, barracks, retailing, steel mill, textile mills, soap and detergent factory, zinc plant, high rise hotel, and prisons. Jim has performed ADA compliance inspections for Brevard and Orange County School Boards, Florida, at elementary, middle, high, and special needs schools. He has conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments at over 200 sites in Florida, Ohio, Texas and Georgia. Jim’s construction related work includes specification of military and industrial facility requirements for design, coordination with A/Es and owner’s representatives during construction, management of residential construction in Kentucky, industrialized construction design and production management, project management for small commercial projects in Seminole County, Florida, and project management for design/build of the Canister Rotation Facility at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
